She wears her glasses every day, but Claire still needs stronger corrective lenses this year. The eye doc said her vision is worse than mine which is a bummer (he compared our prescriptions out of curiosity), although she doesn't need glasses to read and my astigmatism is more significant. Luckily Claire doesn't mind wearing glasses and is excited about the new frames she chose. We'll pick them up at the end of the week and I'll get a picture. In the meantime, here's a link. Just change the color to pink (the temples are green) and there you have it.
Mark bought me a giant 3D flat-screen Smart TV for the bedroom as a combination Christmas/birthday gift (for the next few years, I imagine). The kids just can't wait to eat birthday cake... okay me too!
The wrestlers had a special night to honor the six senior students on the team. Matt was bumped up to the next weight class and still wiped the floor with his opponent from Fuquay Varina High. He said, "Dad couldn't have been more supportive of my wrestling these last four years" which was good to hear (and very true!).
