Dave stepped off the bus today wearing a paper medallion attached to a length of yarn (exactly like Claire a couple years ago) reading "I survived the first day of kindergarten." He immediately said in a panicked voice, "It was trying to choke my neck!" My kids have always favored functionality over form though. Are they wrong?
