Some school days are nonstop. Today isn't one of those days because the kids on this track have rehearsals and celebrations for the end of the school year. Time to find a book!

Dad's Day!

We celebrated Father's Day and our 25th wedding anniversary today. We ate at The Provincial where I hostess, and then we saw Wonder Woman. We had a good time.

Another fall

Mom took a "small tumble" in the dining area yesterday, but doesn't have any injuries. They said they "thoroughly checked her out." I called today and they said she's still "doing just fine." I thanked her and asked if there's anything else I should know? She hesitated for only a second and blurted "Well she has befriended a gentleman here, but we keep an eye on them." I said Johnny. She said "Yes, I didn't want you to walk in and have no idea why they're sitting together." I told her mom did something similar at her last Brookdale and asked her to call if any problems develop. 

Spring showers

Torrential downpour here earlier but the baby birds who recently hatched at the top of a little column under our front porch were safe and dry. Awesome job, Mama Bird.

Their incessant chirping is torturing our four cats but they are always up for excitement so it's good stuff, and we're keeping the blinds up so they don't miss this.
