I did it

Gathered every ounce of my courage and told the restaurant manager I want to learn how to tend bar. He knows I'm very dependable and need the money. Training begins next month!

Spoke with mom's physical therapist

The shoulder is healing, but mom doesn't have full range of motion - mainly due to guarding and the subsequent stiffness. She has another appointment with the orthopedist coming up and PT will continue to work their magic.

Long day

But things are looking up.

Rushed the kids to a well-kid visit in between gigs and got their flu shots. Dave gained 12 pounds in 6 months, and Claire is just shy of 5 feet following a growth spurt. Doc and their Mom are pleased.
